Turin, 26.06.2009 – Graduates and young professionals from across Europe are invited for the second edition of the summer school on “Migration – Challenges and Opportunities for Europe” in Turin, Italy, from 28 September - 9 October 2009. The summer school is jointly organised by the University of Turin, the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) and the EU's European Training Foundation (ETF) with the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo.
The summer school offers an intensive programme to study migration policies, skills development for legal migration and the legal status and rights of migrants. It aims to provide participants with specific information about emerging global challenges from a United Nations and European Union perspective.
The final deadline for applications for the Turin International Summer School is 21 July 2009.
