On 14th and 1th March 2017 Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe (ERI SEE) in co-operation with the Centre of Education Policy and with the support of KulturKontakt Austria and Western Balkans Chambers Investment Forum organized the SEE regional workshop on „Promotion of Work-Based Learning and Development of Joint Occupational Standards”, in Podgorica, Montenegro. The workshop was hosted by the Montenegrin Centre for Vocational Education and Training.
During the workshop the consolidated view with the adequate level of details on establishing the regional knowledge platform for WBL in SEE, views on the development of regional occupational standards in the chosen sectors and their piloting, and the necessary steps to be taken at national and regional level, were agreed. The workshop also resulted in the elaboration of concrete details regarding results, activities, outputs, methodology of the project idea to be developed further.
The workshop hosted education experts (from relevant ministries and/or the regional centres for Vocational Education and Training), and representatives of social partners/sectoral committees/private sector organisations (regional Chambers of Commerce, relevant business sectors…) from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and accompanying representatives from Kosovo* and Romania.
