International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and  International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health for Children and Youth (ICF-CY) in Disability Qualification
This section gives you an overview of the "International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health" (ICF). The ICF and its derived version for children and youth (ICF-CY) represent new international standards in the field of disability classification. Specific uses of the ICF(-CY) in education systems are described in this section, and links are provided to instructive materials that may help you learn more about the ICF.  

MHADIE (Measuring Health and Disability in Europe: Supporting Policy Development) Project
In this section, information is provided about an EU project and some of its results. One focus of the project was to find out more about the applicability of the ICF in education systems and to make specific policy recommendations.

ICF-based Cooperative Assessment Meetings
In the third section, you find information about a practical application of the ICF in education systems: In the canton of Zurich (Switzerland), the ICF was used to establish a common language for planning and evaluating special educational support for children and youth.
