Joint seminar of the Cluster of Knowledge on Vocational Education and Training and South East Europe Regional VET Network (SEEVET-Net) Further development of Work Based Learning in SEE | ERI SEE

Joint seminar of the Cluster of Knowledge on Vocational Education and Training (CoK on VET) and South East Europe Regional VET Network (SEEVET-Net) will be held in Belgrade, Serbia on 19-20 November 2015. The joint seminar will be organised by the ERI SEE with the support of the KulturKontakt Austria and hosted by the Institute for Improvement of Education of the Republic of Serbia.

 As foreseen by the ERI SEE Work Programme for 2015, the joint seminar builds on the previous activities of the SEEVET-Net and CoK on VET under the umbrella of the ERI SEE (Report from the Joint seminar in 2014). 

 The thematic focus of the seminar will be Work Based Learning, and more precisely concepts and formats of WBL, promotion of WBL in business sector, as well as QA of WBL – the topics that were identified by the countries’ representatives at the previous joint seminar.

 Knowing that all member countries of the ERI SEE have signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the other members of ERI SEE on the seat of the Secretariat of ERI SEE, the event will provide the opportunity to discuss on the future institutional cooperation within the SEEVET-Net and to define the regional priorities. The event will bring together representatives from the EU and SEE VET institutions as well as representatives of relevant international organizations.
