International Conference on Referencing and Self-certification of the Croatian Qualifications Framework to the European Qualifications Framework and to the Qualifications Framework of the European Higher Education Area and the first meeting of the Joint TFBHC and ERI SEE Cluster of Knowledge: Development of National Qualifications Frameworks

The Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, as the Croatian EQF NCP is organising an international conference on referencing of the Croatian Qualifications Framework (CROQF) to the EQF and to the QF-EHEA and the first meeting of the Joint Task Force/ERI SEE Cluster on development of NQFs that will take place in Split on October 27-28, 2011.

The objective of the Conference is to discuss with national and international stakeholders and experts the process of referencing of the national qualifications frameworks to the two meta-qualifications frameworks. Special emphasis of the conference will be on the issue of transparency and quality assurance, and the experiences in preparing of the Croatian Referencing and Self-Certification Report with evaluation and guidance from five international experts.

The objective of the NQF Cluster meeting is to share information on the state of play of development of national qualifications frameworks in the participating countries. More specifically, the Cluster meeting will discuss the comparability of higher education qualifications in the context of the Bologna Process and the European Higher Education Area.
