On the 21st September 2016 members of the ERI SEE Governing Board met in Belgrade to discuss the current activities of the ERI SEE Initiative, further steps in the establishement of the ERI SEE Secretariat, and the activities to be implemented in the upcoming period. During the meeting the Governing Board members aslo discussed final and legal issues relevant for the stable functioning of the ERI SEE Secretariat in the process of being established.
The meeting was opened by the Minister Mladen Šarčević, who, in his welcome speech, expressed the importance of regional cooperation in education and training for the stability and growth in South Eastern Europe, and stressed his satisfaction with the full commitment and feeling of ownership of the ERI SEE member countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro and Serbia) over the initiative, which is the guarantee for the ERI SEE sustainability.
